At Ukko I first worked as a senior scientist and quickly as the company grew I had the opportunity to serve as a senior Discovery Team Lead. In this role I managed the protein discovery group (8 employees) where I was responsible on the following:

  • Establishing team working plan and tasks (yearly, monthly weekly)
  • Evaluated employee skills and knowledge regularly, training, and mentoring individuals to improve their performances.
  • Assisted in recruitment to build team of top performers.
  • Established open and professional relationships with team members to achieve quick resolutions for various issues.
