Mansour Mohammed

I have a passion for dentistry and have thrived during my first year of clinical practice and my time at Marquette University School of Dentistry. I have a passion for dental surgery, dental implants, and new patient consultations. I enjoy helping patients understand and accept the care they need.

During my first year of clinical practice I have been able to enhance my treatment acceptance, patient satisfaction, and clinical skills. I am proficient in treatment planning, educating patients, and guiding them towards comprehensive treatment acceptance. In my first year of practice, I took on a position to be a solo provider and run a dental practice. Prior to joining the practice it was a failing business with poor patient satisfaction, low treatment acceptance percentage, and it was non-profitable. After one year, I have been able to transform the practice into one of the highest ranked practices company wide in google reviews, patient satisfaction, treatment acceptance percentage, comprehensive acceptance, dental implant production, and clear aligner production. This has led to the practice becoming profitable, doubling production and cash flow year over year.

I am proficient with Straumann Implant System and guided and free hand dental implant surgery. I have taken CE courses in surgical extractions, guided bone regeneration, alveoloplasty, and dental implant placement for single tooth crowns, bridge, and overdenture. I have also taken CE courses for implant restorations crown and bridge and overdenture. I have a strong passion for dental implants and surgery and hope to work with mentors and colleagues who can help me further enhance my clinical skills. I have documented clinical cases and would love to share them. It is a very rewarding feeling when completing treatment that transforms patient's lives.

During my time in dental school I completed my clinical requirements a semester early and enrolled in honors courses for training with post-graduate residents. I have obtained advanced training in periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and digital dentistry compared to the average new graduate dental student. I strive to constantly learn and advance my ability and skillset to treat patients more comprehensively. I hope to work with colleagues and mentors who can support my pursuit of knowledge and give me the opportunity to further advance my ability in these fields. I am very personable and enjoy building bonds with my patients and co-workers.

After finishing my clinical requirements in dental school I received additional training in periodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and digital dentistry. I was enrolled in Honors Periodontics and Honors Digital Dentistry courses. I have been able to complete single tooth implant placement surgeries, surgical wisdom tooth extractions, crown lengthening procedures, extract and bone graft procedures, rotary instrumentation for endodontics, and CAD CAM work flow. I have assisted many implant placement procedures and all on X fixed prosthesis restorations. I hope to receive more training and mentorship in these fields. 

I was born and raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. When I am not working I enjoy spending my time with family, working out, and playing sports. I have been married for almost 5 years and have a three year old daughter and one year old son.
