Date-to-day activities are debugged complex network problems including troubleshooting Layer 2 Switching, Routing, high CPU utilization, packet loss, hardware forwarding, and Power over Ethernet on the following technologies:

• Cisco Catalyst Switches (1000, 2955, 2960, 3560, 3750,3850, 4500, 6500, 7600, 9000, VSS and more)(STP, QoS, VLANs, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, VTP, 802.1q)
• Cisco Catalyst Routers ( 881, 4431, 4451 – Cisco ASA 5525 and more)(BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS)
• Metro Ethernet Switches (ME1200, ME3400, ME3600, ME3800)
• Network services - DHCP, DNS, Proxy, Load Balancing, TCP IP-based services.

My additional responsibilities include:
• Created reproductions of customer production networks
• Making recommendations to customers to improve overall network performance
• Working on problems of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Provided technical support and advice for working with lab infrastructure

Work primarily involved hardware support, including replacing LAN cables, LAN cards, switches, PSU and other components. Responsible for troubleshooting network issues, as well as replacing and maintaining hardware and networking systems.
