I began working in the landscape field for Brookside Landscaping at age 15. I started out as a laborer and worked my way up to foreman at age 18. I then took an opportunity to move into an estimator/designer position with Brookside. I maintained this position from 1998 to 2011. The owner decided to put the business up for sale at the end of 2011 and I decided to purchase the company and become the new owner. I owned Brookside Landscaping from 2012 to 2019. I then sold the business in January of 2020 and remained with Brookside and the new owners as the estimator, designer, and daily operations manager for 2 years.

My accomplishments with Brookside Landscaping include:

• Supervising operations staff and keeping employees compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Managing inventory and supply chain operations to achieve timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
• Led hiring, onboarding and training of new hires to fulfill business requirements.
• Developed and maintained relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
• Oversaw facility maintenance, ensuring optimal functionality of equipment and infrastructure at all times.
• Designing and selling high end residential landscape and hardscape projects.
• Maintaining a stellar reputation and high customer satisfaction rate.
