  • Processing and extracting oils from what germ and hemp making a wide range of products including animal feed, food grade flour, lotion and oils. The process from raw germ to the oil extraction with the use of steam energy and hexane.   • Worked in a fast paced production line running many different pieces of machinery. We made all fluid filters for Caterpillar machine. Performed regular scheduled maintenance on multiple pieces of machinery along with troubleshooting and repairing machines to make sure they performed at optional range. As a senior production tech I was required and able to run the most difficult machines on the lines and was able to learn and trouble shoot issues on my own and maintain line rates on the machines while running multiple machines at the same time. Line rates were required to be met which I met and exceeded a majority of the time unless there were machine issues. All products have very strict quality specifications that had to be met by all product. I received a lot of quality training in order to ensure product was in spec.

Also required to make sure proper Hazmat labeling and packaging was on all orders. I worked on orders that went out on ships abs places to foreign countries which all required different styles of packaging with different protective packing and labeling depending on how and where they were being shipped.

Accomplishments

    Completed the I57 and I74 interstate exchange project working with multiple contractors and IDOT to ensure the quality of all concrete delivered was within specifications. Successfully worked with many jobsite foremen and project managers to schedule deliveries and to ensure the safest routes to take for the job. This was a ongoing 5 year multi-million dollar project that was a success due to the strategic planning and execution of my staff and coordination with many outside contractors and testing agencies.
