On the Events team my role was to help with execution of events and setting up around campus for our online newsletter/blog

I was able to mentor kids from K-8 at the Rita Bright Center and earn over 50 community service hours
As an americorps member I devoted 2 days a week for a full semester earning over 300 service hours by teaching and enhancing the learning of pre-school students
As secretary I was introduced to serving on an executive board and what being a Laboratory student entailed
I wanted to join to create a regular routine of indulging in service in my free time
