I believe that hiring me can only improve the work already being done. That I can prove my ability and willingness to learn and move up within the company as well.
At Brennan Equipment my position has me handling large steel to make the parts needed for the manufacturing process. I use critical math skills as well as a multitude of tools to ensure that I do my job correctly and in a time efficient manner. I am also lifting more than 60-70 pounds throughout the shift.
While working at this location my main job was to navigate a multitude of isles to find the items that appeared on my scanner. During a normal night I would be walking an upwards of 19+ miles a night during work.
At this warehouse I was a packer but that also meant that I was operating a warehouse crane to pack many of the CAT parts that we shipped out. There was never an item that did not require it's usage and thus I became extremely proficient in its application during the work day.
During my time at this warehouse my main responsibility was to unload trucks onto pallets and then move them to a separate area to be stored in the warehouse. I would have to mark in the system how many items I put on each pallet and ensure that proper records were kept for all of my work.
During my stay with this company I was tasked with sometimes climbing multiple floors to place items of different variety onto a conveyer to be sent throughout the warehouse and ultimately shipped off to stores. I had to keep track of multiple individual labels and ensure that all items had the necessary markers and notifiers on them for the other employees who had to handle them.
