-Observed advanced procedures, including EBUS and robotic bronchoscopy, while learning OR protocols and team coordination;

-Performed histories, physical exams including otoscopies; presented findings to the physician and encountered a wide range of conditions from acute infections to chronic behavioral and developmental issues;

-Undertook a posting in Karachi's largest, 1900-bed, public sector hospital and rotated in medicine, neurology, general surgery and orthopedics department;
-Participated in direct patient care through formulating diagnoses, developing treatment plans, coordinating care, maintaining documentation, and presenting on daily rounds;
-Rotated across operating room, emergency department, outpatient clinics, and inpatient wards, gaining exposure to diverse clinical settings;
-Delivered case presentations during hospital-wide multidisciplinary team meetings;
-Acquired procedural skills and independently performed IV cannulation, wound debridement, arterial blood gas sampling, lumbar puncture, and other bedside procedures.
-Served as Medical Officer at Murshid Hospital, Karachi, a 300-bed tertiary care center, rotating through inpatient wards and ICU;
-Managed care for 20+ patients daily, including admissions from the ER and outpatient department, performing histories, physical exams, and initiating treatment;
-Led resuscitations and acute interventions, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely investigations and admissions;
-Maintained accurate documentation, smooth patient handoffs, and clear communication with families;
-Oversaw high-acuity cases and patient transitions independently, enhancing clinical judgment, efficiency, and decision-making under pressure.
-Volunteered with FRIP, a nonprofit conducting free CPR and life-saving workshops to reduce preventable deaths and promote community health;
-Selected as an Instructor after completing rigorous training and assessments;
-Trained 300+ participants, including corporate employees, healthcare providers, and students, in CPR and emergency response skills;

-Volunteered with the Edhi Foundation, Pakistan’s largest non-profit humanitarian organization, during the 2022 floods that displaced over 33 million people;
-Led a team of 10 volunteers to distribute rations, clothing, and essential supplies to 200+ families in Uthal, one of the worst-affected regions in Pakistan;
-Collaborated with physicians to organize medical camps, providing care for displaced patients with waterborne, vector-borne, skin, and respiratory illnesses;
-Educated families on hygiene and preventive measures to reduce the risk of post-flood epidemics such as cholera and dengue;
-Gained experience in disaster relief, teamwork, crisis communication, and public health interventions in resource-limited conditions.
-Volunteered as a Summer Biology Teacher for 11th and 12th graders in my hometown with limited educational resources;
-Designed a specialized biology course on challenging concepts, using clear diagrams and visual aids while mentoring students individually to overcome learning difficulties;
-Helped students strengthen foundational knowledge, improve performance, and build confidence in science, empowering those from underserved areas to pursue higher education;
-Guided 100+ students on medical and university admissions, and was invited to speak at the local high school to advise on applications and career pathways;
