• Licensed veterinarian providing quality patient care through examining and diagnosing medical conditions, performing laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, performing surgery and providing routine dental care and extractions, prescribing relevant medication, advocating for routine preventative care through vaccination and client education, performing euthanasia when necessary, and maintaining clear and detailed medical records.

• Duties involved filling prescriptions, pet owner interviews, education on current preventative care, medication and immunization administration as prescribed by a veterinarian, venipuncture and placing IV catheters, setting up surgical equipment, prepping animals for surgery, intubating, monitoring anesthesia, assisting and performing feral feline spays and neuters, performing dental cleanings/dental radiographs, recovering patients following surgical procedures, discharging patients, performing diagnostic imaging, reading urinalysis, ear cytology, etc.

• Duties involved assisting at dog shows with grooming and prepping dogs to be shown in the ring, assisting handler ring side with showing dogs and organizing the line-up, performing duties of maintaining all dogs at the show both day and night (feeding, exercising, cleaning cages etc.), and assisting in breeding of previous champion show dogs.

• Duties involved assisting in surgical procedures, administering anesthetics during surgery and monitoring patients, filling medication prescriptions, administering medications and immunizations as prescribed by a veterinarian, collecting laboratory specimens such as blood, urine, or feces and performing necessary testing, performing routine laboratory diagnostic testing such as taking/developing x-rays, assisting with euthanasia, animal restraint, client education on animal care and nutrition as well as office reception duties (answering phones, scheduling appointments, accounting duties, and client billing).
