Pre Apprentice
As an HVAC pre apprentice, I gained hands-on experience working alongside licensed technicians on residential and commercial projects. I assisted with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and ductwork. My responsibilities included reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and ensuring systems were installed to code. I also learned to troubleshoot common HVAC issues and performed tasks such as checking refrigerant levels, changing filters, and calibrating thermostats. Throughout my apprenticeship, 1 developed a strong understanding of safety protocols, EPA regulations, and energy efficiency standards, while building a solid foundation for a career in the HVAC trade.
