Over the past decade and a half, I have worked in some of Chicago’s most respected dining rooms including Virtue Hyde Park, Ocean Prime, and Benny’s Chop House where I developed a reputation for exceptional guest care, deep menu and wine knowledge, flawless table-side execution, and consistent professionalism under pressure. I understand how to read a room, anticipate needs before they’re spoken, and deliver an experience that feels both elevated and personal. This level of service is a standard I take pride in, not a skill I turn on and off.
My background as an EOD sailor in the Navy Reserve has strengthened the exact qualities that define a successful fine dining professional: discipline, composure, teamwork, precision, and accountability. I bring a level of reliability and calm that guests feel and managers value, especially in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.
In addition to my hospitality work, I founded and currently operate Strength Symphony Fitness, a personal training business I built from the ground up. Through this, I’ve sharpened my communication, client-management, sales, leadership, and time-management skills — all of which directly translate into creating consistent, high-quality guest experiences in a luxury dining atmosphere. Managing a full client roster has given me a heightened level of professionalism, adaptability, and ownership over my work that complements my fine dining background perfectly.
