Summary

Woven through my 36-year career, on three continents, is a journey driven by values, passion and life purpose:

  • A commitment to creating safe, supportive, and growth-oriented environments, yo empower individuals and groups, in which I serve as facilitator, guided by intuition, experience and the group.
  • The joy of seeing people reach inwards, and towards each other, as they explore - often tentatively at first - then build confidence, explore inner challenges, overcome trauma and develop the tools to lead their best lives.
  • A Masters in Social Science is the solid foundation, with decades working in South Africa, 14 other African countries, the Caribbean and Israel, in the community, corporate and government spheres.
  • This is always a creative process, firstly, to design suitable methods and materials, and secondly, conduct hands-on education and training, therapy and therapeutic processes - each tailored to a specific group.
  • Always, too, interpersonal methods are core, using experiential activities, role plays, introspective exercises, therapeutic movement and art, writing and journaling for meaningful engagement and lasting impact.
