Working under the supervision of the medical director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, involving polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education.
•Provide excellent customer service by communicating compassionately and professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Care for sleep apnea disorder patients with medical conditions such as asthma, emphysema,
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and/or one lung.
• Schedule in-lab sleep studies (PSG, CAP, BIPAP, ASV, and split night titrations)
• Schedule home sleep studies (HST).
• Perform education and demonstrate how to appropriately use the home sleep test device to the patient's understanding.
• Perform data download from portable monitoring devices.

• Collect, analyze, and compile all patient data, maintain records and prepare reports.
• Monitor patient Cpap verify patient insurance eligibility, obtain insurance authorization for studies, and ensure compliance.
• Appeal all denied pre-certifications from insurance and schedule "Peer to Peer' consults between the insurance physician and the onsite medical physician.
• Training all incoming sleep center team members to be able to problem solve sleep specific issues, submit CAP, BIPAP, and ASV machine orders to DME companies, as well as schedule all sleep study types, figure out which DME companies are in network with which insurances, and provide education on how to set up and demo CAP usage for patients, along with providing mask fittings.
