Hello, my name is spencer and im very interested in getting my feet wet in the wind sector of energy. I have three years of experience working and maintaining high voltage transmission lines. I've worked in all aspect of line building process. From terminations in the sub to setting poles, and running wire. For those three years I spent two of them operation a bucket truck. My responsibilities associated with the bucket ranged anywhere from training ground hands on safe work place practices, to stocking and hanging material on the truck. I've learned the importance of electrical safety, and good work place practices. After my time in linework I transition into an areial electrician position. I still worked with heights and live circuits, but it gave me a good insight into low voltage. I got proficient with using a multi-meter, and troubleshooting live circuits. I mainly preformed repairs and maintenance on parking lot lights, and signs. This experience all together has give me a lot of skills that pertain to wind. Thank you for considering me for this position.
I obtained my rank of Eagle Scout thought the Boy Scouts of America in 2015. At the age of 15 I helped my community by going house to house and offered a free inspection and replacement of all smoke detectors. I worked alongside of the local fire department, and my boy scout troop to raise funds, and replace all batteries and or faulty detectors that were found. Then when we were done i donated all of the left over funds to the volunteer fire department to help the community.
