Accomplishment:

• Led Thinning module in successful qualification of pick-and-place, mounter, and back grinding equipment, streamlining the startup and ramping up of die preparation processes.
• Root caused and solved long standing wafer drop issue in pick and place machine with robust solution which resulted in quality improvement in pick and place operation and cost saving of 20,000 USD annually using lean six sigma methodology.
• Led NTI (New Technology Introduction) project of AI-driven Inline Vision defect inspection systems into back grinding equipment, significantly reducing reliance on manual quality checks and achieving return on investment of approximately 1 million USD.
• Led predictive maintenance initiative across Die Prep factories for back grinding spindle unit by leveraging IoT technology for vibration monitoring, resulting in cost savings of 1.2 million USD.
• Executed multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) transfers for back grinding equipment, ensuring Statistical Process Control (SPC) targets were within specified limits and maintaining Process Control System (PCS) indicators.

• In charge of production output analysis - successfully identified major bottleneck in production line, which maximized yield with cost saving of USD 100,000 annually.
• Managed special product development with colleagues and monitored process parameters, output and quality during production to ensure 95% passing rate and reduce customer complaints.
• Handled 13 production lines commissioning and plant start up and project lead in line upgrading for better performance and efficiency.
• Analyzed utility cost in manufacturing processes and implemented projects to reduce utility cost by 85,000 USD per year.
• Analyzed and conducted oven optimization which reduced operating cost by 5%.
• Designed new tank and implemented design in production line which resulted in improved product quality.
• Designed blower impeller to increase lifespan from 8 to 12 month sand improved its efficiency by 33.33%.
