As a Volunteer Coordinator at the Association for Volunteering, I worked with young adults on the autism spectrum who chose to perform national service. My role focused on preparing them for meaningful participation in society through emotional and logistical support throughout their service period. I provided individual guidance, facilitated group processes aimed at building a cohesive and supportive peer group, and served as a mediator between participants and their service frameworks. The position required high sensitivity, strong interpersonal skills, and a systemic perspective, while supporting autonomy, social integration, and a sense of contribution to the community.
