Same day ambulatory unit for pre and post cath lab patients as

patients. Responsible for admitting and discharging patients as

well as prepping and sending open-heart patients to surgery.

Responsible for pre-and post cardiac lab care including

pacemakers, loop recorders, cardiac catheterization's, with or

without intervention, ablations.

Care of critically ill patients including, Ml's, respiratory failure, sepsis, acute kidney failure. This was a CVICU,

but we often received overflow. Floated to the neuro ICU as well as trauma ICU at times. I was a charge nurse

for many years which included duties such as assigning patient to appropriate beds and nurses, making

assignments for oncoming shifts, determining potential patients to triage, code blue coordinator for hospital code

team, assuring patient safety and quality care and communicating with the house supervisor.
