Frac Blender Operator

  • Operated 4 different styles of Fracturing Blender including: NRG, Dragon, S&S diesel and Electric Blender. While using 2 different software systems (AMI & Acufrac)
  • Used control panel in order to maintain proper suction rate for water, and proper concentration for both sand and chemicals was achieved.

  • Ensured safety of frac crew and other crews on site, reported any key issues directly to my field supervisors, treaters, or company men.
  • Assist mechanics and electrical technicians on repairs to equipment systems and components to allow maximum operating performance.
  • Performed maintenance on frac pumps during pumping by isolating both low and high pressure side, then safely relieving pressure through a 1x2 plug valve to atmosphere.
  • Oversee pressure test for both Frac and Pump-down lines simultaneously in order to find weak points within iron and frac stacks before opening wells and allowing Frac and Pump-down operations to commence.
  • During miss runs of perforating guns where explosives failed to discharge all parties would report to the muster area. Acting as the representative for my company assisting customer consultant and wireline crew to asses the situation and then communicate to all parties for safe return to normal operations once a solution was achieved.
