I am very open to learn any skills that I would need for this work position. I am very enthusiastic and have an open mind. I take every challenge with a positive attitude. I am a person that works best under pressure and likes to keep busy!
I volunteer at Church very often, whether it's helping in the music department, working as a greeter, or even helping in kids ministry, you will most likely find me at church on my free time.
I love kids and helping those around me. Often times family friends will ask me to babysit their kids while they take time to enjoy themselves. I am very honored that these adults entrust me with their kids.
My church often hosts dinners events such as weddings and engagements, in which I am asked to work as a server. Recently, I have been asked to work as the serving leader, I don't serve as much anymore, but rather manage the other servers. I tell them which tables to serve, when they are allowed to go out with their food, and I serve the most important table, the bride and groom!
I manage day to day errands. Go to clothing stores to pick up orders, house checks (checking to see that everything in the house is in order), among many other tasks. When there is events going on at the house, I help organize the parties, prep for the parties, order food, and all sorts of planning. Basically, lots of behind the scenes work.
Since I was born in Spain, I am a native speaker. Delia (60), a family friend, really wanted to learn more and perfect her Spanish. I would give her an hour of my time every week and teach her Spanish. We would do this by having conversation, while doing so I would correct her grammar and give her tips on her pronunciation.
