  • Position: Preceptor, Phlebotomy/ Medical assistant II - I am responsible for working as a team with the new hire medical assistants, I provide support, and I train the new hires. I take ownership of tasks that are assigned to me. I make sure to deliver quality results. I am responsible for blood draws and keeping the supplies up to date in the lab. Manage the inventory and ordering lab supplies, making sure we have collection tubes available for the provider's when ordering a test.I have been successful in training new hires in the phlebotomy and medical assistant. Rooming patients, do vitals and complete verbal screenings. I am in charge of the retina vue screening, and help out with different tasks assigned. A List of additional daily responsibilities:
