The IVC Jazz Bands bring the swing and soul to our program, performing a variety of jazz styles including big band, swing, and contemporary jazz. Students in jazz bands hone their improvisational skills, rhythm, and creativity while performing at school concerts, local events, and the annual Rolling Meadows Jazz Festival.

PTCHWRK is a teen rock band from the Peoria, Illinois area that grew out of the Dream Center Peoria’s music program. The group pulled their name from the idea that they all live in different towns, “patched” together by the music they make. Their sound leans on classic rock with some emo-rock edges, built around big guitar parts and shared vocals.

This was unfortunately discontinued... Samantha won preliminaries both years she entered. Over all placed 4th in 2022 and 3rd in 2023 internationally.
