I am currently employed as a private contractor for a company based in River North in the city of Chicago. My role with this company is Cafe Coordinator. I entered this role seeking a more in depth and professional career in the industry that I have quickly grown to love. The setting of this position is in a professional and corporate workspace. When I began working with this company, they had just recently completed the build of their cafe, and needed someone to iron out the kinks and coordinate their services, both independently and in conjunction with other employees.


My Main Contributions in this Role Include:

  • Researching and Obtaining products from Independent Vendors and Wholesale Distributors
  • Developing Relationships and Supply Chain Procedures to Ensure Smooth and Efficient Deliveries and Services
  • Coordinating Deliveries and daily Catering
  • Menu Creation and Implementation crafted to meet the diverse and unique tastes of my clients

My position at The Exchange Coffee Co. was an incredible experience. Having such a love for coffee is only what got me through the door. I joined the team in their first few months of operation. In the time I worked alongside them, business expanded greatly. I take a lot of pride in working closely with the owner of the shop to develop the best possible systems, practices, and recipes for the highest possible degree of customer satisfaction and business efficiency. I spent nearly a year in this position and I loved it; only resigning because of relocation. With this relocation I prioritized bringing my love for coffee and connection with community along with me.
