• Area project engineer supporting the Alkylation, Sat Gas, and Amine process units at the Robinson refinery.
• Responsible for front-end engineering and execution of area capital and expense projects.
• Additional responsibilities include providing mechanical technical support, coordination of Management of Change for area improvements/repairs, and investigation leadership of multiple process safety incidents.

Area project engineer supporting Tank Farm, Wastewater unit, and interconnected piping at the Robinson refinery. Responsibilities included:

• Management of a suite of small capital and expense projects as well as management of capital improvements to refinery tanks.
• Coordination of Management of Change for area improvements.
• Technical support for piping and fixed equipment during API tank outages.

Completed 3 Co-op rotations at multiple sites within the MPC refining organization with assignments in project engineering, turnaround planning, and maintenance/reliability.

Responsible for production scheduling, process documentation, and new-hire technical training. Acted as liason between internal R&D and production groups during new product development and scale-up.

• Responsible for operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pilot-scale and commercial powder production units at a small scale, R&D focused nanomaterials firm.
• Participated in design, build-out, and testing of new production units and process equipment.
