  • Perform surveillance of nationwide 911 emergency services network
  • Consisting of various network elements
  • Routers, servers, and switching equipment
  • Continuously monitor the Sinch Voice 911 network and infrastructure for any anomalies, issues, or incidents
  • Monitor network alarms, maintenance notifications and status of network performance, and assisting with network concerns and problems for a 24x7 operations center
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, software developers, customer support, and external partners, to address technical challenges effectively
  • Assist technical support personnel with testing, troubleshooting, and instruction on voice applications and systems
  • Resolving all telecommunication service issues for all internal and external customers in a 24/7 network operations center
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, service providers, and telecom carriers to troubleshoot connectivity issues, and escalate service outages
  • Open, track and resolve internal/external tickets
  • Perform a technical analysis of problems and outages as they occur across the enterprise to evaluate/isolate the root cause
  • Escalation to management of service interruption patterns, to assist in the identification of potential network service effecting issues
  • Analyzing call traces (i.e
  • PCAPs, Internal Hammer call traces, CDRs) to figure out why/where the call failed and working with our up/downstream partners for a resolution
  • Understanding of SIP call flow to accurately locate the point of failure within a call trace
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and network assessments to evaluate the performance and reliability of the systems involved in handling 911 calls
  • Work directly with internal teams and third party vendors in determining Severity 1 outages to resolve within our SLAs
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements within the NOC environment
