● Leading on-site teams of 2-5 people through multi-day transitional projects of health care facilities from their old IT provider to Creative Tech's model. A typical transitional projects include all of the following:
○ Replacement or takeover of: firewall, managed switches, end user computers, desktop accessories and
peripherals, Wi-Fi Access Points, printers
○ Ensuring auxiliary systems adjacent or connected to our network remain online, and troubleshooting these
systems if they break during these total equipment and IP swap overs
○ Simply communicating and teaching these changes to 5-40 onsite users.
● Distribute workload amongst onsite team to best compliment team members strengths and ensure efficient IT
transitions
● Bridge communication between users and team members onsite with our remote help desk support and project
managers as standard and novel issues arise over Microsoft Teams
● Maintain communication with client side project managers with status updates of building’s IT transition
● Act as face of the company to our end users when communicating new changes or solving novel issues that are creating
a negative experience for these users
● Taking clear and plentiful documentation photos of all critical infrastructure and any devices acting as an auxiliary
system controller
● Continuing to carry on regular Field Tech duties (listed below) between projects
Install new end user devices, including but not limited to PCs, Laptops printers, managed and unmanaged switches,
desktop accessories
● Visit client facilities to troubleshoot a variety of IT issues, including but not limited to: end user device problems,
network instabilities, unplanned network downtimes, often working alongside with L1-L3 help desk technicians
● Visit client’s new buildings to perform IT equipment surveys, recording counts, locations, and specifications of: printers,
Wi-Fi Access Points, MDFs, IDFs, managed and unmanaged switches, modems, firewall, phones, phone routing
equipment, PCs, Laptops, and desktop peripherals
● Design clean and legible floor plans using Vizio, clearly marking locations of: specific offices and denoting the
equipment in those offices, MDF/IDFs, DEMARC, and Wi-Fi Access Points.
● Perform Wi-Fi surveys of buildings using Ekahau Sidekick and accompanying software, in order to better service Wi-Fi
coverage as accurately as possible for buildings of all different types
● PXE image new computers and configure those devices according to each client’s specific needs, using either Active
Directory or Azure/Entra ID.
● Simple computer repairs, from diagnosing physical hardware issues and procuring replacement parts to installing those
new parts
● Managing users and configuring devices within Azure/Entra ID Cloud Computing
● Managing users and objects, and configuring devices within Active Directory
● Managing small teams of 2-5 people over multi-day transitional projects
● Managing and configuring thin client devices with Stratodesk
● Installing network equipment (Switches, Firewalls) on racks
● Cabling network racks neatly
● Configuring modern switches via web interface
● Configuring older switches via serial cable CLI
