In my role as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in the Core Lab, I perform complex laboratory testing in chemistry, coagulation, hematology, and urinalysis while ensuring accurate and timely reporting of patient results. I am responsible for instrument maintenance, calibration, quality control review, troubleshooting analyzer and specimen issues while maintaining laboratory quality standards. I prioritize STAT testing, testing and effective communication to healthcare providers and my peers.

During my time in the core lab, I have demonstrated reliability and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. I have contributed to maintaining efficient turnaround times and uninterrupted patient testing by promptly resolving quality control and instrument-related issues. I have developed strong problem solving and communication skills through collaboration with technologists and other healthcare professionals, and I am committed to supporting high quality patient care while contributing success efficiency in the laboratory. These experiences have strengthened my expertise, communication skills, and leadership abilities, and I am eager to apply them in a Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist role.
