Omer Amit-Cohen

With a deep passion for aviation, I have accumulated thousands of hours on flight simulators from a young age, including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Prepar3D, DCS, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. I dedicated 5 years to intensive physical training and coaching as part of my military preparation, which included running, mental strength exercises, long-distance hikes, training camps, and simulations. I continue to pursue sports, including snowboarding, and am passionate about traveling the world, seeking new experiences and challenges.

• Completed intensive combat soldier training in a short period as mental and physical preparation for flight qualification tests in the Air Force pilot course.
• Transitioned rapidly to academic studies while undergoing pilot training, demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and strong learning capabilities.
• Completed 14 training flights, performing aerobatic manoeuvres and advanced flight exercises on the Grob 120A trainer in short time and under pressure.
• Gained hands-on experience in operating aircraft under various conditions, enhancing situational awareness and decision-making skills.

• Operated Hermes 450 UAV in a team contributing to the coordination and management of critical military operations
• Supervised operations and provided real-time intelligence analysis to top officers, collaborating with leading national intelligence agencies and delivering critical mission data to support high-level decision-making.
• Developed an innovative communication and data presentation method to enhance coordination between the mission team and the planning team.

Volunteer with Animals – Society for the Protection of Animals, Israel
