4 Months- Student taught in a 3rd grade math classroom with students of varying needs.
- During my full two-weeks, I was in charge of all the little things, and ensuring students were getting the education they needed.
- Created lesson plans for individual students, lessons, and units. I was also awarded the opportunity to start a new assessment built-in lesson plan.
Home Tutor
2 Months- As a home tutor, I would come prepared to students' homes with lesson plans for each week. These were all dependent on what occurred the week before, but needed to be adaptable in case of new assignments from teachers.
- I would put together fun learning games, activities, and homework/quizzes for students to complete while with me, and even after I left for more work.
Camp Counselor
2 Months- Coached kids in various sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, pickleball, and more.
- Led small group activities such as arts and crafts and community building.
- Followed curriculum-based lesson plans and taught them to students daily.
