  • Formulating and developing custom algorithms for the core data problem in this startup, which is effectively solving a resolution problem of multiphase data. The work included many phases of analyzations and innovations and spans across data adaptations towards implementing self innovated deep learning NLP algorithms upon unlabeled data.
  • Manifesting successfully implementation of the distant supervision idea as part of the holistic developed solution. By that allowing a progress without the need of data analysis for data labeling.
  • Innovating and implementing (using Keras/Tensorflow) a bipartite graph NLP algorithm
  • The algorithm significantly overcome a competing rule base system

  • Working in a CTO-office like team (first recruit). The fraud incubation team (FIT) is focusing on web fraud problems that are not addressed by other security products in Akamai.
  • Led all aspects of data science in FIT, while also consulting to other teams in Akamai.
  • Working mod was of "from idea to product". For each introduced problem, and after learning about the available data and its characteristics, we have conducted a full data science pipeline towards production.
  • Inventing and implementing custom deep learning networks in the fields of NLP, graph neural networks (e.g., message passing) and computer vision (e.g., with Siamese networks architecture).

  • Starting as a specialist data scientist in the mobile division of checkpoint, later on becoming a tech lead in the field.
  • The main topic was detection of malware applications in mobile.
  • The role included two different levels of responsibilities. The first is continue to improve a working DS engine of malware detection. The second is increasing the functionality of the engine by adding new models based on new data sources.
  • We have conducted two successful PoCs (NLP, anomaly detection) and managed to substantially improve the DS engine of malware detection.
  • Effectively leading the team (of two engineers) in the last 6 months of my work in Checkpoint.
