My name is Mireille Smeir Nasir, born in Jerusalem on 30 October 1981. I gratuated from the Rosary Sisters' High School in Beit- Hanina, Jerusalem. I went to study four semesters at the Faculty of Business Administration at Bethlehem University, unfortunately due to the intensification of the conflict in 2002, I was forced to leave the University early. Instead, I completed a one-year course of Medical and Executive Secretary at Helat Al -Quds Institute (Hilat Yerushalime Ulpan) in Talpiot, Jerusalem and graduated with a diploma degree.
I worked at several places as you've seen, i enjoyed every single position i had, did good in all Jobs i had, and carried a really good experience and people i have known. While working, I continued to take courses at Institutes to help me broaden my knowledge base. As I demonstrate in my CV, I am a hard worker that is eager to push her boundaries. I am skilled at Administrative work, and I have consular experience from working at the Canadian Representative Office.
In my recent work a the Manager of Lavender Boutique Hotel, I know how to run a team, and oversea 7 employees, and guide them to ensure that rules, duties and procedure are adhered to. Managing the daily operations of the boutique hotel, taking care of Public Relations and making sure that our guests have the best service we provide. The ability to facilitate and make sure everything we offer is up to our high standards.
Due to Corona Pandemic, th Hotel has been closed since March 2020, and from that date till now, i have been staying at home.
I believe everything i studied and every position i worked at already added to my skills and knowledge that will always help me add to any place i would work at.
I worked for almost three years at the main desk office of the hospital. My duties included dealing directly with customers (patients), opening file cases for them, directing them to the respective clinics, labs or doctors, and admitting them to the hospital, and maintaining office supplies. Upon discharge of patients, I was responsible for calculating the medical expenses incurred, and issuing their invoices.
After working for almost three years at the main office, I requested to move to the surgical ward, where I was typing the medical reports of the patients prior to their discharge from the hospital, as well as regular administrative duties including filing, archiving, taking appointments & correspondence. I requested this change of post, to enhance my skills and capabilities.
Throughout my work, I have also carried out executive secretarial duties for the general manager of the Hospital.
Among the many duties, I arranged his appointment book, drafted letters on his behalf, maintained staff timesheets, and liaised with governmental authorities the admittance of patients from the West Bank.
