Maxwell Ness

As an Electrical Engineer at UCC Environmental, I contribute to the design and implementation of electrical systems that support cleaner, more efficient industrial processes. With over three years of combined internship and full-time experience at UCC, I've developed a strong foundation in electrical design, with an analytical, detail-oriented mindset. While also pairing this technical proficiency with skills like collaboration, communication, and fostering team morale. I hold a B.S. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from North Central College, and I am continually looking for ways to continue learning, even after my time in academia is done.

Vice Chairman, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Student Branch, March 2023- Present

· Lead focus group meetings to design and implement new chapter on campus

· Led strategic planning meetings for projects and events such as “Solderathon”

Member, Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), North Central College September 2022- Present

· Collaborate with engineers in other areas to efficiently complete an electronic race car, meeting competition design and safety requirements, within budget

Varsity Athlete, North Central College Men’s Football Team, Naperville, IL August 2021- Present

· Managed 35-40 hours a week of travel, training, and competitions with a full course load by having a strong work ethic and time management and was awarded Academic All-CCIW

· Helped lead team to a national championship game (2021, 2022) through being on the O-Line
