Purdue Case Competition

• This competition was a one-week Purdue case competition through the Daniels School of Business
• Our team of 3 Purdue students was tasked with finding the best strategy to turn a start-up drown company profitable
• My role was on the financial side, considering current economic conditions
• As I analyzed company finances, I came up with a solution to help cut SG&A costs, to place the company in a better financial situation for longevity
• The case competition took into account group presentation and public speaking skills




Study of Equity and Debt Markets for Personal Investment Portfolio

• Fundamental Analysis- Analyzed company financial statements using accounting principles, including horizontal, vertical, and ratio analysis to come to conclusions about a company's financial health
• Technical Analysis- Analyzing a stock's current price and trends through candle stick patterns, support and resistance levels, and lagging momentum indicators




Micro and Macro-Economics Tutor

• Experience tutoring Microeconomics outside of class, usually for 3-5 hours a week
• Focus on teaching supply and demand basics, consumer and producer surplus, international trade, forms of competition, and consumer preferences
• As a tutor, I was tasked with using real-life examples to help students understand economic concepts and principles.
