Care for critically and chronically ill patients with cardiopulmonary disorders hooked on cardiac monitor, ventilator and on inotropes (such as norepinephrine, dobutamine, dopamine or epinephrine drips). This includes the admission of the patient either from ER, General Unit, ICU transouts or Operating Room (post-op patients) to nursing/ medical management, rehabilitation and until discharge.
Performing basic life support and advanced cardiac life support when a patient is on cardiac arrest; assisting during intubation and Codes.
Care for patients with pleural effusion managed by chest tube thoracostomy, pigtail catheters, or by pleurodesis. Includes assisting during bedside emergency/ scheduled catheter insertion.
Care for patients who respire thru tracheostomy or endotracheal tube with assistance from mechanical ventilator; this consists from the time the patient is hooked to a ventilator until he/she is weaned off from it.
Care for patients who are under non-invasive ventilator support such as BIPAP Machines and High flow oxygen.
Care for patients that are on sedation such as precedex drip. This includes compounding of the drug, administration, titration and monitoring of the patient status while on sedation.

Care for patients with human immunodeficiency virus, mostly with opportunistic infections affecting the lungs and spine also assisted in doing lumbar puncture in such patients.
