-Supported unit in achieving Magnet Recognition and Comprehensive Stroke Center certification

-Prioritize and manage care for 4-5 patients
-Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans
-Establish rapport with patients and their families and educate them on disease processes and plan of care

• Fulfill role as clinical floor nurse, as well as a resource nurse to others on the unit
• Readily develop rapport with patients, families, staff, and other health care professionals
• Relate well to people from a variety of cultures and socio-economic backgrounds
