

Latoya Flowers is a multimedia creative, filmmaker, and creative leader specializing in exhibition storytelling and immersive visitor experiences. She develops narrative-driven media that transforms complex scientific, historical, and cultural content into engaging, accessible experiences for diverse audiences. As Senior Multimedia Creative at the Field Museum, Latoya leads the creative development of media experiences for traveling, temporary, and permanent exhibitions. She collaborates with curators, scientists, exhibit designers, developers, illustrators, animators, composers, and media integration teams to translate research into cohesive visitor journeys through cinematic storytelling, interactive media, and environmental design. Recognized internationally for her contributions to immersive experiences, Latoya was named to the Blooloop 50 Immersive Influencer list in 2024. Prior to joining the Field Museum, she was a Media Producer at the Adler Planetarium, where she contributed to exhibition projects that combined science communication, immersive storytelling, and public engagement. Throughout her career, Latoya has focused on audience-centered storytelling, mentoring emerging creatives, and collaborating across disciplines to create meaningful experiences that connect people with science, history, and culture.
