I am a passionate owner of my own clothing business, which I have been running for over a year. I resell a variety of clothing items, including both new and vintage shirts, pants, sweaters, and shoes. To promote my products, I utilize online marketing strategies, custom stickers, and networking, both on social media and in person. Additionally, I offer delivery to customers in the Chicago area.
I achieve success by selling on Instagram, Depop, and at local events as a vendor in Chicago. I am creative, dedicated, and hardworking, and I genuinely care about the quality of the inventory I offer. I leverage my knowledge and experience in customer service to benefit my business. Most importantly, I prioritize my customers, ensuring their satisfaction with every piece I provide.
I am continually growing as a seller and business owner by learning along the way and adapting to new opportunities. Additionally, I collaborate with other creatives not only to promote my business but also to introduce my followers to various artists. I utilize my platform to inspire others and express creativity and success.
I started this job by buffing boats with handheld equipment and applying wax, ensuring they were clean, spotless, and presentable for their owners.
I had to buff boats from heights ranging between eight and twelve feet. They were moved on land, and I stood on ladders and scaffolding to detail them from every angle.
During the summer, I would also drive from harbor to harbor to clean, wash, scrub, and deep clean the interiors of boats.
During the winter, I cleared and salted the pathways and roads for the accounts assigned to my team.
I worked at a small retail store called "Continental Sales - Lots 4 Less" for nearly four years. I was entrusted with multiple roles there, which improved my skills in customer service and merchandise handling.
During my time as a cashier, I received thorough training to efficiently handle the checkout lane, especially during peak hours. Customers frequently complimented me on my helpfulness and politeness.
I also worked on the sales floor, making sure it was fully stocked at all times, opening up and displaying the items to look presentable, and fixing messes on any lane.
One of my responsibilities was maintenance. I made sure that the store was always stocked with carts, attended to any spills or messes, locked the cart corrals, and cleared pathways for customers outside based on the weather, whether it was snow or rain. I also double-checked the store for any additional messes.
In my last role, I focused on merchandising. My responsibilities included unloading pallets from a truck using either a manual or mechanical pallet jack. I consistently moved pallets of items to ensure that the sales floor was well-stocked, organized pallets in rows, and lifted any heavy items as needed.
