Although I have skills in identifying and solving problems, time management, and recognizing individual needs quickly, from work experience, it is my life experience, compassion, and empathy that will make me a perfect fit for this position. I truly have a desire to help others better their lives, even when tough choices are required to get there. I also have the ability to objectively see individuals, without comparison, which is a skill that took time to develop. My life, though I have experienced addiction, homelessness, insurmountable grief and loss, as well as MDD, is a testament to the fact that these things can be overcome, with the proper support. I believe that a person who is willing to do the inner work, necessary for healing, can become a beacon of hope for those still suffering. My aim is to offer my experience, strength, and hope to others, by helping them see the world through a different lens, taking accountability, and returning to their authentic selves.
