Former Deputy Director of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency (AREA) with 15+ years of experience in renewable energy development, business development, and investor relations. Led national policy initiatives and structured investment frameworks to attract international capital into solar, onshore and offshore wind, green hydrogen, and energy storage projects. Successfully negotiated project bankability terms with investors and lenders, enabling the $250M financial close of Azerbaijan’s first and largest foreign-invested renewable energy project. Chaired the country’s first competitive solar energy auction (100 MW), establishing a benchmark for clean energy procurement. At SOCAR, secured €30 million in EU grants and contributed to gas project negotiations leading to the Final Investment Decision (FID) for a field expected to generate $100 billion in long-term revenue. Currently pursuing an MS in Energy and Sustainability at Northwestern University to advance expertise in renewable energy project development, energy market regulation, clean technology innovation, and sustainable infrastructure strategy.
