· Maintain productivity at 15 ED/ urgent care charts an hour, and 30 ancillary charts an hour with an accuracy of 95% according to company policy.

• Assist with Priority Queue coding holds and corrections, as well as Inpatient to Outpatient coding for outpatient surgery
• Assist with coding at a wide range of facilities
• Provide the most accurate procedure, and diagnosis codes including modifiers when needed
• Making sure that all necessary information is included in the physicians note, and sending queries when needed regarding clarification of missing or inadequate information
• Maintain productivity at 4.75 Outpatient Surgery charts an hour, with an accuracy of 95% according to company policy

• Assist with BAART corrections for the emergency department/ urgent care

• Responsible for using accurate codes according to the ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC guidelines
• Coding General Medicine and Labs for a professional based office

• Responsible for abstracting information from charts to determine accurate diagnosis codes including HCC codes
• Areas of focus are General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Mental Health, Urology, GI, and ENT
• Making sure that all necessary information is included in the chart for proper coding
• Communicating with production team lead regarding job duties
• Maintaining productivity at 15-20 charts an hour with an accuracy of 95% according to company policy
