In summer 2023, I was a cabin staff

  • I was in charge of a cabin and ten 1-1 pairs between someone without a disability and someone with a disability
  • I was in charge of cabin activities, leading small groups for my cabin, and creating a fun and positive environment for my volunteers and campers

In summer 2024, I was the barnstorm lead

  • This position I was in charge of 6 staff and about 60 middle schools every week
  • I would run daily activities, but also the cleaning around the entire camp
  • This position also required me to talk to group leaders and problem solve different situations

Currently/ Summer of 2025, I will be a cabin supervisor

  • I will be supervising cabins consisting of two staff, and ten 1-1 pairs between individuals with and without a disability.
  • I will be MANDT certified, in order to provide behavior deescalation for campers when needed.
  • I also plan and lead small groups for staff.
  • I am in charge of calling parents and discussing behavior plans and management techniques for our campers.
