Responsibilities for culture manufacturing include:

• KOH sterilization

• Measuring De-ionized water volume in flasks
• Weighing of sodium citrate powder and mixing it with water

• Milk preparation using the milk and deionized water formula
• Cell paste transfer to sterile buckets or pots
• Batch weigh ups of sterilized ingredients and addition of ingredients for blending
• Using air test kit for compressed air testing

On packaging days my duties at the culture plant included:

• White box assembly and stamping including correct manufacturing code, pouch/box ratio, and culture code.
• Rack organization
• Pouch sample collecting and QC tests
• Pouch boxing
• Liquid nitrogen tank filling
• Record and keep any necessary packaging forms
• Freezing of boxes using liquid nitrogen
• Record package inventory in records
• Store frozen product culture in cryogenic freezers
• Update freezer sheet when new product is stored or stored product is shipped
