• Research technical data and performs inspection, repair and replacement of aircraft sheet metal structures including reinforcement aircraft skins, reinforcement of frames, wall barrier ,sheer panels, ceiling panels, sidewall panels and floor beams in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations and Ascent Aviation policies and procedures.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
• Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal parts, equipment, and products utilizing knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and nonmetallic materials, machining, and layout techniques.
• Selects gauge and type of sheet metal, such as stainless steel, steel, or aluminum, or nonmetallic material, such as plastics or fiberglass, according to product specifications.
• Lays out and marks dimensions and reference lines on material, using scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers applying knowledge of shop mathematics and layout techniques to develop and trace patterns of product or parts.
• Performs maintenance work such as repair and maintenance of company equipment and shop housecleaning.
• Makes appropriate entries in Component Removal Log, completes identification tags, and repairable/parts routing tags upon removing components from aircraft.

• Assigned as On call Aircraft mechanic in Cabin Department and performs Aicraft Cabin Modification on Aircraft Airbus 319/320 , Airbus 330, Boeing 737NG and Embraer E170 /190
• Perform layout work, measuring, bending, and forming sheet metal in preparation for assembly
• Fabricates sheet metal from raw stock by cutting down, drilling to prepare for installation in accordance with Customer’s modification engineering drawings
• Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes
• Shoot and buck rivets to specifications following guidelines
• Accomplishes modifications on aircraft cabin components and accessories such as Galleys structures, aircraft seats laminates, inserts, stowage’s, seat tracks etc
• As stated in the approved engineering publications to satisfy company, manufacturer, customer and aviation authority regulation to ensure availability and serviceability as required in aircraft maintenance operations.

• Supervised staff working on-board aircraft during maintenance activities
• Ensure delivery of cabin maintenance is sufficient to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Monitor CDD and Cabin MEL levels thereby ensuring clearance of defects within timescales
• Performed Cabin Inspection survey report and record appearance issues
• Maintain regular communication with Cabin Crew in order to promote improvements in the cabin product
• Maintain regular communication with cleaning crew to ensure cleaning standards
• Ensure that the cabins are maintained using the most effective and cost effective tools and substances
• Ensure that aircraft fumigation and insect prevention programme is followed effectively
• Read and interpret manufacturers’ and company’s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
• Support Linhas Aereas de Angola to Improved Cabin Appearances of B737-700,B777-200 and B777-300 fleet and ensure cabin maintenance plan are implemented.

• Assigned as an Aircraft Galley Builder/ Technician in Galley Manufacturing Department
• Performs panel assembly/building of Galley modules, detail, final detail and final build
• It constitutes filleting/gluing of all compartments, bonding of extrusions/profile, inserts, blocks and doublers
• Performs installation of plumbing and chilling parts
• Performs bonding of decor trim/laminates on panels and installation of mechanical parts such as grab handle, floor seals ,floor fittings, turn button ,half cart retainers
• Performs bonding and installation of work deck/countertop, doors and décor panels
• Performs final reworks and inspection of galleys prior to its release
• Attends weekly drumbeat meetings for work updates and delegations.

• Performs overhaul, repair, testing and modification of Galley modules
• It constitutes Dis-assembly, assembly, cleaning, inspection and repair of damaged honey comb structures, fabricating extrusions, installation of blocks and inserts, Replacement of parts, lamination ( tedlar trimmer) of decorative foils on side walls ,and painting of panels, doors and module surfaces
• Performs overhaul, repair, testing and modification of Aircraft Seats
• It constitutes Dis-assembly, assembly, cleaning, inspection and Replacement of parts and seat covers in accordance with the customers’ needs such as British Airways, Ryan Air, GECAS, Kenya Airways and Easy Jet.

• Assigned as an Aircraft Mechanic in Aircraft Overhaul Division Cabin Repair Shop
• Performs overhaul, repair, testing and modification of A320, A330 ,A340 and A380 galley and lavatory modules, Stowage, Aircraft Seats and All Cabin Bits and Pieces
• Its constitutes Dis-assembly , assembly, cleaning, inspection and repair of damaged honey comb structures, fabricating extrusions, Replacement of parts, lamination of decorative foils on side walls and panels, doors and module surfaces

• Supervises lower Cabin mechanic and certifies for their work
• Performs routine and non-routine work it includes service 1 check, service 2 check, A check up to D-check on galley and lavatory modules, Aircraft Seats and Cabin bits and pieces of Air Mauritius, Austrian Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Lufthansa, Kuwait Airways, British Midland Airways, Air Luxor, Virgin Atlantic, Air Tahiti Nui, Gulf Air, Jet star, Qantas Airlines, Gulf Air, Star Flyer, Asiana, Thomas Cook, Air Asia X and Philippine Airlines fleet of Airbus 320,330 and 340 aircraft
• Signs-off work accomplishment on all maintenance documents and other forms which may be needed in performing duties.

• Support Lufthansa Technik Malta ‘s C-check and D-check of A340, A330 and A320 fleet of Lufthansa, Air One, Livingston, Air Malta, Qatar Airways, Tap Portugal and Alitalia Aircraft
• Supervises and mentors trainees in their work assignments
• Ensures the smooth flow and transition of work to prevent errors, delays and additional costing
• Leads in the identification of workflow defects and formulates resolution, preventive /corrective actions
• Does component changes and tests consistent to customer airlines specifications.
