Operations and Customer Service:
Assist with oversight of daily brokerage operations for all teams
Assist in ensuring that supervisors are monitoring daily work boards to include:
Workloads are monitored to ensure proper coverage
Teams are in compliance with KPI’s in all measurement areas
Teams are being encouraged to use all available efficiency tools
Assist with Information about systems changes, enhancements or down time is communicated on a daily basis as received
Make sure this information is being shared within the teams and proper training is provided
Assist with support and monitor Supervisors to ensure they are managing all aspects of their daily team activity to ensure compliance to our process, KPI’s, customer expectations, and all timing requirements are being met so we achieve our goals.
Personnel Development and Team Organization:
Support Supervisors and leads with all personnel related items
Ensure Supervisors are properly managing team calendars regarding time off so proper coverage is maintained at all times for each team
Ensure that all employee reviews are completely timely each month and reviewed for accuracy, to ensure fair, honest, reviews with clear expectations are being presented to our employees
Participate in employee meetings or discussions with Supervisors as needed
Expected to mentor and train Supervisors to prepare them for future success
Take time to provide employee recognition, OTS, employee of the month nominations for the management team
Make sure Supervisors have a plan in place for their team when requesting time off when a team does not have a lead
Ensure that Supervisors facilitate cross training to ensure proper backup to handle staff changes and time off
Monitor over time/capacity to ensure Supervisors are ensuring over time is used properly and the desired result is achieved
Compliance:
Work with compliance team and brokerage management to ensure customs brokerage activity is in compliance with company policy and standards
Ensure team compliance with documents being loaded into edoc timely and accurately
Ensure team compliance will all new initiatives internal and external with customs and/or participating government agencies at all times
Finance and Accounting:
Assist in preparing brokerage quotes to clients
Work with teams daily/monthly to ensure all accounting items are current

Retention and customer relationship:
Participate in customer retention calls
Follow up action items for all customer meetings
Ensure our teams understand and execute according to customer’s KPI’s

Assist with Customer sales calls, QBR’s, and retention to support Sales and Account Management as requested
