Power Plant Analysis 

- Steady state analysis of a power plant's working fluid 

- Use of CoolProps (Excel add on) to find various enthalpy values at different states of thermodynamic cycle 

- Finding efficiency of the cycle with different working fluids to see which fluid is best. 

Heat Distribution Analysis 

- Used a finite difference method to approximate and display a heat distribution throughout a square piece of metal 

- Four different boundary conditions were applied to each side of the metal 

- Used MATLAB to approximate and display 

Ice Cream Maker (Senior Design)

- Combined knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and design to produce an ice cream machine

- Used 2 peltier cooling plates and an AC brushless motor to create the environment necessary for ice cream production

- Communicated ideas, design process, and findings to various judges at a senior design expo as a group
