These services consisted of cardiology, transplant, urology, nephrology, endocrinology, cardiac/thoracic/& vascular surgery, gastric/colorectal surgery, Social work, and PT/OT. Correlated appointments with patient transport for imaging like X-ray, CT, MRI, R/LHC, pre/post op surgery prep. Worked with family to provide effective communication through listening whilst maintaining a professional demeanor amongst conflict. Advocated for patients by providing emotional support, respect, and education for the future regarding their condition at discharge.
Further responsibilities: Emergency response- responding to complications (tamponade, arrhythmias, chyle leak/infection, etc), and providing appropriate interventions.
