In this role, I cared for two children (Layla, 9 months at the start, and primarily Cece, age 3), supporting their daily routines including school pick-ups, meals, and playtime. I planned engaging, age appropriate activities, interactive play, and reading to encourage their development, while also incorporating early learning and Montessori style approaches.

I supported their social growth by guiding interactions with siblings and other children, and focused on creating a structured, nurturing environment that still allowed for flexibility and fun.

I also assisted the family during a home transition by preparing the house for showings through cleaning and organizing, stayed on top of tasks like folding and organizing children’s clothing, and provided additional support with dog sitting and house watching. I maintained consistent communication and a positive relationship with parents to ensure we were aligned on the children’s needs and routines.

Provided full-time care for two boys, ages 3 and 5, over a 10-week summer period. Created and managed daily routines including meals, outdoor play, educational activities, and downtime, maintaining a balanced and engaging structure throughout the day.

Planned and led creative play and learning experiences that supported their social, cognitive, and emotional development, while ensuring a safe, structured, and positive environment.

Maintained open communication with parents by sharing daily updates and collaborating on routines and strategies. Demonstrated flexibility, patience, and strong problem-solving skills in this fast-paced, temporary role.

I assisted the lead instructor in developing lesson plans, organizing class schedules, and choreographing performances for children ages 3 to 8 years old. I facilitated engaging, interactive activities and provided individualized support to encourage participation and build confidence.

I monitored student progress and offered guidance to strengthen their skills and enjoyment of ballet. I also collaborated with the instructor to adapt and improve the curriculum, contributing to a more positive and effective class environment.
