LEADERSHIP

Multiple years working as a front-line supervisor with duties including supervision and development of subordinate staff. Scheduling staff to work locations and duties on a daily basis. When working as a supervisor, I was responsible for ensuring staff were available to maintain staffing levels and provide care as outlined in programming. I also handled employee conflicts and made determinations of discipline, training needed, and performance improvement plans. As a habilitation program coordinator, I have to ensure that programming meets the needs of the individuals on my caseload, along with directing specialized providers in the assessment and evaluation pertinent to their expertise, i.e., physical therapy and nursing.

MENTORSHIP AND TRAINING

I have spent time over my years training staff. This includes seasoned and new staff. I have taught behavior intervention training, CPR, and emotional intelligence. I also train staff on changes to habilitation plans, behavior plans, and other trainings as needed to ensure program and statutory compliance.

COMPUTER LITERACY

Specific Training in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access). Not well versed in Access, but comfortable in the other programs.
