Ian Farrar

I work as a camera operator, producer, production editor, and production assistant on multiple video shoots. For BSU Tonight, I produce many video shoots. Production duties include managing, organizing, and scheduling actors for a shoot, scouting and reserving locations, and recruiting the crew. I set up well-composed shots and am creative with the limited resources or time at our disposal. I am skilled in Premiere Pro and experienced at editing well-timed and quick sequences. My goal is to serve people, corporations, and non-profits with videos that get people excited about the services or products they offer.

Floor Manager

Reel Deal: Muncie, IN

I was the floor manager who organized and scheduled the hosts for the shoot and cued them up with their lines. I controlled the camera and audio during the shoot.

Chasing an Education, Editor

Channel 49, Ball State PBS

I was the production editor for a documentary on storm chasing that aired on PBS. I cut the clips, ordered them, found the music, screen captured other footage, and edited photos to use for the film's sequence. In addition, I was the production assistant who set up the equipment and made sure that there were no distractions during the shoot and scheduled the interviewees at the shooting location.
