We are now in the execution phase, with pilot deployments actively validating foundational capabilities for our smart restaurant vision:

• Event-Driven Architecture (EDA): We’ve adopted EDA patterns to decouple services and enable responsive, real-time interactions across restaurant endpoints—supporting offline transactions, dynamic pricing, and contextual offer delivery.
• Edge Observability: A comprehensive observability framework is in place, incorporating blue/green and canary deployment strategies, automated rollbacks, and full-spectrum telemetry (metrics, traces, logs, alerts) to ensure proactive monitoring and rapid issue resolution.
• Endpoint Optimization: Restaurant endpoints have been re-architected to be OS-agnostic, containerized, and decoupled from legacy systems—enabling cross-device deployment, improved order accuracy, and seamless integration with IoT peripherals for enhanced operational resilience.

This work is not just about modernizing infrastructure—it’s about enabling McDonald’s to operate smarter, faster, and more securely at the edge. From optimizing restaurant endpoints to scaling intelligent edge services, we are already realizing measurable improvements in efficiency, customer experience, and platform agility.

As Director of Engineering at Publicis Sapient, I lead the Cloud & DevOps Center of Excellence across North America and the Healthcare vertical, overseeing a 100+ person team delivering enterprise-scale transformation across strategy, platform engineering, security, migration, and operations.

I’ve partnered with clients such as Mayo Clinic, Humana, MGM Resorts, and ASCO to drive modernization initiatives. At Mayo Clinic, I led the delivery of a secure, API-first patient platform on GCP, built with automated DevSecOps pipelines and full compliance with HIPAA and GDPR.

My leadership is centered on scaling DevOps maturity, accelerating delivery through automation and reusable accelerators, and shaping our cloud service offerings. I also drive strategic initiatives in workforce planning, talent development, and thought leadership to ensure engineering excellence and measurable business impact.

• As a technology manager, I led the successful redesign and modernization of the Royal Mail Group’s eBusiness platform, significantly enhancing its scalability, stability, and availability.
• I collaborated with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to shape RFP strategies and solution designs, while also developing cloud capacity plans aligned with client-specific requirements.
• I implemented streamlined environment and release management processes, created and tested Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, and drove continuous improvement initiatives for major clients like GM and Disney. Additionally, I optimized middleware performance and introduced tools to strengthen system monitoring and performance management.
