I am a dedicated and compassionate Surgical Technology student at Triton College with over two years of hands-on healthcare experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in both long-term care and home health settings. Through these roles, I have developed strong patient care, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills while providing safe, compassionate care in fast-paced environments.

As I prepare to begin my surgical technology clinical rotations, I have built a solid foundation in sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, aseptic practices, patient positioning, infection prevention, and operating room procedures. My education has strengthened my attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.

I am eager to apply my clinical knowledge in a surgical setting and continue learning from experienced surgical teams. I am a quick learner, dependable, hardworking, and always willing to take the initiative. My experience caring for patients, combined with my passion for surgery and commitment to professional growth, makes me a strong candidate for a Surgical Technology apprenticeship.
